Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Principal Technical Hybrid enterprise infrastructure architect with 7+ years in a Wintel role and 5+ years in cloud leadership. You will drive multi-cloud strategy across AWS/Azure, manage on-prem to cloud migrations, and establish landing zones, guardrails, and standardized architectures.

You will lead design reviews, guide complex modernization programs, and ensure governance and compliance across global enterprise environments.

Qualifications

5+ years in enterprise infrastructure and cloud engineering, with 7+ years in a Wintel role.
Strong hands-on expertise in Exchange / Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), IAM.
Windows Server 2019-2025, SQL, Backup solutions, DNS/DHCP/Group Policy.
VMware ESXi and Hyper-V experience.
Deep AWS and/or Azure experience, including IaaS/PaaS, cloud networking and governance.

Responsibilities

Act as the Principal Technical Hybrid person for enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms.
Lead design reviews, incident escalations, and POC initiatives.
Guide large-scale on-prem to cloud migrations and modernization efforts.
Ensure security guardrails and architecture standards across hybrid environments.
Manage cross-platform escalations and global operations governance.
