Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines seeks a Senior IT Operations Engineer to join our Global Delivery team. You will provide hands-on support for core applications, automate workflows, and manage incident response with focus on Root Cause Analysis.

The role covers design, development, testing, and implementation of automation and cloud-based solutions, including AWS services, security posture, and patch management. Strong collaboration with IT and business units is required.

Qualifications

• AWS core services: EC2, S3 and CloudWatch experience.
• Automation / batch workflow configuration: scheduling, dependencies, error handling.
• PowerShell scripting: modify and troubleshoot scripts.
• Patch management: Windows server/workstation patching with tools like Intune or Systems Manager.
• Networking & security fundamentals: Active Directory and group policies.
• Incident management and root cause analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, configuration, and troubleshooting for core applications.
• Nightly cycle support and after-hours incident resolution when needed.
• Design and modify moderately complex automation workflows or batch processes.
• Lead root cause analysis meetings with minimal assistance.
• Participate in full project lifecycle from design to implementation.
• Understand network and application security and file share permissions.
• Collaborate with business, IT professionals, or vendors to resolve issues.
• Gather system requirements and support testing; contribute to project plans.
