The Qualifications We Seek
Must-Haves
- At least 2 years of experience as System Administrator
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, and Teams
- Experience working with ticketing systems and SLA-driven queues
- Experience using Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools for endpoint monitoring and patching
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 10/11 and networking fundamentals
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with confidence in communicating directly with clients
- Strong understanding of user lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and access controls
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience managing multiple client tenants through a delegated administration model
- Familiarity with knowledge base or documentation platforms
- Microsoft certifications relevant to modern endpoint or Microsoft 365 administration
- Exposure to data governance or compliance tools within Microsoft 365
- Experience designing and implementing Conditional Access policies
- Familiarity with project or task tracking tools
- Experience troubleshooting endpoint encryption and recovery
- Exposure to quality or customer satisfaction frameworks within a support environment
- Scripting and automation skills, ideally using PowerShell
- Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or multi-client support environment
Your Daily Tasks
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, networking equipment, and associated IT systems
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to maintain reliable, high-performing infrastructure
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks, manage system configurations, and improve operational efficiency
- Perform regular system backups, software updates, and patch management to maintain security, stability, and performance
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls through Active Directory and other relevant systems
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes
- Collaborate with IT team members to plan and execute system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and industry best practices
