Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking an IT Specialist to support users, administer Microsoft 365, manage cloud environments, and help security and compliance initiatives. This role offers onboarding and career development within a global services firm.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, CS or related field.
• At least 2 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
• Experience in project management is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Basic understanding of Azure and cloud fundamentals.
• Knowledge of networking basics (DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP).
• Experience with website design tools or basic HTML/CSS.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Hospitality systems experience is an advantage.

• Provide frontline technical support for end users across hardware, software, and cloud services.
• Troubleshoot Windows, printers, mobile devices, and business applications.

The Qualifications We Seek

Required

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• At least 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration
• Previous experience in project management
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
• Basic understanding of Azure and cloud fundamentals
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with website design tools or basic HTML and CSS
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Hospitality systems experience is an advantage

Preferred

• Experience creating or managing Microsoft Copilot for Business agents
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro forms and workflows
• Exposure to PCI DSS, GDPR, or other IT compliance frameworks
• Basic scripting knowledge, preferably in PowerShell
• CompTIA A+, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) certification
• Customer-focused approach to technical support
• Strong attention to detail and documentationEffective prioritization and multitasking skills
• Eagerness to learn emerging technologies, particularly AI tools and cloud platforms

Your Daily Tasks

IT Support and Operations

• Provide frontline technical support for end users across hardware, software, and cloud services
• Troubleshoot Windows systems, printers, mobile devices, and business applications
• Support user onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning and access control

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Support and maintain SharePoint Online environments, including permissions, site structures, and content
• Administer OneDrive storage, sharing controls, and data governance
• Assist with Microsoft Copilot for Business deployments, including the creation and management of AI agents and workflows
• Monitor and maintain Microsoft 365 security and compliance settings

Cloud and Infrastructure

• Assist with Azure administration, including user identities, basic resource management, and policies
• Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID users and groups
• Perform routine system updates, patching, and monitoring

Web and Content Development

• Design and maintain internal and external websites using SharePoint, CMS platforms, or HTML and CSS
• Create and manage Adobe Acrobat forms, including fillable PDFs, workflows, and digital signatures

Networking

• Support basic network administration across switches, wireless networks, VLANs, and IP addressing
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues

Security and Compliance

• Support IT security initiatives aligned with PCI DSS and GDPR requirements
• Enforce data protection policies, access controls, and secure configurations
• Assist with audits, documentation, and compliance reporting
