The Qualifications We Seek

Network Engineering Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer, managing BAU operations and network projects within an MSP environment
• Experience supporting multi-tenant environments with diverse network architectures and business requirements
• Ability to independently manage small- to medium-scale projects and complex network incidents

Networking & Infrastructure Expertise

• Strong expertise in network implementation, administration, documentation, and troubleshooting
• Advanced knowledge of routing and switching, including Cisco ASR, Cisco Nexus, Meraki, and SD-WAN with Fortinet and Meraki
• Strong experience with firewalls, including Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco
• Experience with load balancers, including Citrix and F5
• Experience with wireless technologies, including Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet
• Experience with NSX-T virtualization
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN and Azure networking
• Experience with SASE solutions is preferred
• Strong knowledge of ITIL and ITSM practices
• Relevant network certifications, such as CCNP or CCIE, are highly desirable

Technical & Professional Capabilities

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues, develop workarounds, and manage multiple troubleshooting streams under pressure
• Strong growth mindset, can-do attitude, and customer-first approach, with the ability to contribute to a high-performance culture
• Exposure to AIOps adoption, scripting, and automation is an advantage
• Relevant AIOps, scripting, automation, or networking certifications are an advantage

Your Daily Tasks

Network Infrastructure & BAU Operations

• Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Oversee BAU network operations across firewalls, routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, and load balancers.
• Maintain optimal network performance, availability, security, and compliance across supported environments.

Network Project Delivery

• Design, plan, and execute network infrastructure projects.
• Manage project delivery from technical design through implementation and completion.
• Ensure smooth project handover to operations.

Network Monitoring & Incident Management

• Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential service issues.
• Diagnose and resolve network incidents to maintain service continuity within agreed SLAs.
• Act as an escalation point for complex network issues and major incidents.

Governance & Documentation

• Maintain network policies, procedures, and best practices to uphold high service standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting guides.

Technical Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement technical solutions.
• Support continuous improvements across network performance, reliability, security, and service delivery.

Technical Leadership & Mentoring

• Mentor network engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and ongoing support.
• Promote network engineering standards, technical capabilities, and best practices across the team.
