VITRO, Inc. is seeking a Senior Surveillance Specialist to oversee Surveillance Operations personnel responsible for video surveillance observations and monitoring tasks.
You will schedule, assign, and prioritize work, ensure policy compliance, and prepare administrative and investigative reports. You will guide 24/7 operations and work with CCTV, ACS, and alarm systems, participate in budgeting and upgrades, and contribute to security improvements.
The Senior Surveillance Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Surveillance Operations personnel who perform Video Surveillance observations and other monitoring tasks. This role involves scheduling, assigning, and prioritizing work activities, as well as ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures. The Senior Surveillance Specialist will also prepare administrative and investigative reports and assist the Surveillance Operations Head in providing training and guidance to its personnel.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot security technologies, including CCTV systems, Access Control Systems (ACS), Alarm Systems, and Incident Management Systems.
Perform system checks, manage software updates, coordinate maintenance, and ensure the integration of new technologies.
Maintain system documentation and adhere to data retention and compliance policies.
Provide guidance and leadership to Surveillance Operations personnel, ensuring effective 24/7 operational coverage.
Schedule, assign, and prioritize work activities to maintain operational efficiency. Deliver performance feedback, prepare performance evaluations, and identify training needs for team members.
With solid background in handling Incident Management, Policy Enforcement, Crisis & Risk Management.
Assist the Surveillance Operations Head with planning and budgeting for system upgrades, training programs, and operational initiatives.
Contribute to strategic security projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Bachelor's Degree in Criminology, Information Technology or other related courses.
With at least 5 years of relevant work experience. With at least 2 years of experience in a supervisorial role;
Above average knowledge on asset protection, crisis management, risk management & human behavior, Excellent knowledge and line management experience in the O & M of security technologies including CCTV Operations, Access Control, Alarm Systems & Incident Management Systems, Knowledge of security processes and guidelines.
Supervisory Skills – Ability to lead shifts, guide team members, and ensure compliance with procedures.
Root Cause Analysis – Ability to identify underlying causes of incidents and recommend corrective actions.
CCTV / VMS Troubleshooting – Working knowledge of CCTV and Video Management Systems, including basic issue isolation and coordination with technical teams.
Incident Management – Ability to respond to, document, and escalation incidents in accordance with established protocols.
Data Privacy – Understanding of data privacy principles, confidentiality and proper handling of surveillance data in compliance with applicable regulations.
. Video Management System Certification (Genetec & Milestone preferred), Physical Security Professional or Certified Security Professional, ISO 27001 Awareness, DOLE OSH SO2 (progressing to SO3)
