Surveillance Officer monitors premises, people, and assets in real-time using CCTV camera‑control system and specialized security systems to prevent, detect, and report illegal activities, theft, or safety hazards.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Watch multiple live video feeds for suspicious behavior, safety breaches, or policy violations.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot surveillance equipment, such as cameras and audio recorders.
- Alert security personnel or authorities to emergencies, accidents, or criminal activity immediately.
- Create accurate, detailed daily logs and incident reports regarding observed activities.
- Review recorded footage to investigate incidents, theft, or fraudulent activities.
- Ensure all activities adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Any Bachelor's Degree related to Criminology, Law, Psychology or High School GED.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to notice subtle anomalies.
- Proficiency with surveillance software, CCTV systems, and computer hardware.
- Strong verbal and written skills for reporting and coordinating with teams.
- Ability to remain focused and make quick, sound decisions during emergencies.
- High level of confidentiality and ethical standards.

- Willing to do field work / store visit to check all and fix the CCTV Camera.
