Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain/Logistics/Business).
• 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain management, procurement or inventory management.
• Proven expertise in vendor management, negotiation and relationship building.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain software applications.
• Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments and with suppliers.
• Demonstrated cost reduction initiatives and process optimisation.
• Knowledge of logistics operations, transportation and distribution networks is desirable.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP, APICS or equivalent) preferred.

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in optimising our supply chain operations and ensuring efficient distribution of products across our network. As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from procurement through to inventory management and logistics coordination. This role is integral to maintaining our competitive advantage in the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector and directly impacts our ability to meet customer demands and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency, reduce costs and improve overall performance

• Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation and performance monitoring to ensure quality and competitive pricing

• Oversee inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels whilst minimising carrying costs and waste
