Job summary

JR&R Distributors Inc. in Batangas City is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to optimise our end-to-end supply chain operations.

You will oversee procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination to support efficient distribution across our network. The role requires 5+ years in supply chain management within manufacturing or distribution, strong vendor management and cost-reduction experience, and proficiency with ERP and supply chain software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain/Logistics/Business).
• 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain management, procurement or inventory management.
• Proven expertise in vendor management, negotiation and relationship building.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain software applications.
• Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments and with suppliers.
• Demonstrated cost reduction initiatives and process optimisation.
• Knowledge of logistics operations, transportation and distribution networks is desirable.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP, APICS or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency, reduce costs and improve performance.
• Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise carrying costs.
• Coordinate with logistics and transport teams for timely delivery.
• Monitor supply chain metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices across supply chain functions.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
• Forecast demand and plan inventory based on market trends and forecasts.
• Lead cross-functional teams with operations, sales and finance to align supply chain with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards and company policies throughout the supply chain.
