Job Summary
Golden Acres Food Service Corporation is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to support and execute daily supply chain operations. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficient flow of food products through effective coordination in procurement, inventory control, demand planning, logistics support, and data analysis while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute supply chain plans to ensure uninterrupted product availability across all locations.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, Production, Sales, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and demand forecasts to prevent stock-outs, overstocking, and product expiration.
- Assist in procurement activities including purchase order tracking, supplier coordination, and delivery follow-ups.
- Support warehouse and distribution planning to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, cold chain requirements, company policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Track and evaluate supplier performance, delivery accuracy, lead times, and service levels, and report any variances.
- Analyze supply chain data and KPIs to identify inefficiencies, cost‑saving opportunities, and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in ERP and inventory management systems.
- Assist in risk management and contingency planning to minimize supply disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 24 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory, or operations, preferably in the food service or FMCG industry.
- Working knowledge of inventory control, procurement processes, and distribution operations.
- Exposure to food safety standards, cold chain management, and regulatory compliance is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in ERP systems, inventory software, and MS Office applications (Excel required).
