Job summary

APL Logistics Philippines, Inc. seeks a Supervisor, GBS Operations to lead a documentation team and ensure high customer satisfaction. You will drive productivity, monitor processes, and coordinate with origin and regional offices to meet service levels.

The role requires tertiary education, 3 years in a similar industry (1 year in supervision), and excellent English communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. A customer-focused mindset and IT adaptability are essential.

• Tertiary education is required, with preference for Logistics Management.
• 3 years in a similar industry with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Supervisor, GBS Operations will have to manage and lead a team of documentation representatives / analysts to achieve high customer satisfaction. He/she will have to lead the team to achieve the productivity and quality to meet the requirements of the business service level agreement. He/she will also have to ensure that all individual processes are adhered to and monitored closely.

• Manages and leads an efficient and professional team who will exceed customer’s expectation
• Monitors and allocates resources according to productivity level in order to achieve service excellence
• Reviews and identifies customers’ needs and requirements in daily communication with origin and regional offices
• Pro-actively communicates with internal and external customers on industrial, country and company initiatives and changes
• Reviews and implements new initiative from internal and external customers
• Supports and rolls out any system or process enhancement implemented by corporate
• Achieves consistency in output of docs / services that is timely, complete & accurate
• Tertiary education is required, with preference for Logistics Management
• Able to speak and write in English
• 3 years of working experience in similar industry with at least 1 year in supervisory capacity
