Job summary

Alpha Multi Core Advertising Corporation in Rizal, Taytay is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and supervision of advertising and steel structures. You will ensure safety, compliance with standards, and site-appropriate solutions.

You will prepare calculations and drawings, review shop drawings, and coordinate with Project Management, Fabrication, and Installation teams while inspecting works on site and providing technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) preferred
• Experience in structural design and steel fabrication
• Experience in advertising signage or billboard structures is an advantage
• Proficient reading of engineering drawings and codes

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, drawings, and specs
• Design and analyze steel structures, advertising structures, signs, frames, supports, canopies
• Check structural requirements based on site conditions, dimensions, loads, and installation requirements
• Conduct or assist in site inspections and structural assessments before and during installation
• Review engineering drawings, shop drawings, fabrication details, and structural plans
• Coordinate with Project Management, Design, Fabrication, Installation, and other concerned departments
• Provide technical instructions and recommendations to fabrication and installation teams
• Ensure structural works comply with approved plans, specifications, safety requirements, and applicable engineering standards
• Identify structural risks, defects, or non-conformities and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, inspection reports, and other required engineering documents

About the role

Responsible for the structural design, analysis, checking, and technical supervision of advertising structures, steel structures, signages, and related construction or installation works to ensure they are safe, structurally sound, compliant with applicable standards, and suitable for actual site conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyze steel structures, advertising structures, signages, frames, supports, canopies, and other related structures


• Check structural requirements based on actual site conditions, dimensions, loads, and installation requirements


• Conduct or assist in site inspections and structural assessments before and during installation


• Review engineering drawings, shop drawings, fabrication details, and structural plans


• Coordinate with Project Management, Design, Fabrication, Installation, and other concerned departments

About you

• Experience in the advertising industry, particularly in the design and structural requirements of signages, billboards, façade/signage structures, or similar advertising structures is an advantage


• Experience in metal fabrication, steel fabrication, welding/fabrication processes, or fabrication shop operations is an advantage


• Knowledge of structural analysis, steel design, and construction methods


• Knowledge of applicable Philippine building and structural standards/codes


• Proficient in AutoCAD and structural calculation/design software


• Able to read and interpret engineering and structural drawings


• Willing to conduct site visits and inspections
