About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our engineering team. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity and safety of residential, commercial, and prefabricated structures. The role involves preparing structural plans and calculations, coordinating with architects and other engineers, and ensuring that projects comply with applicable codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for residential, commercial, and prefabricated buildings.
• Prepare structural plans, drawings, details, and design calculations.
• Conduct structural analysis and determine appropriate materials, dimensions, and specifications.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure structural requirements are properly integrated.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, electrical engineers, site engineers, and other project teams.
• Inspect project sites and assess structural conditions, construction progress, and compliance with approved plans.
• Provide technical solutions to structural and construction-related issues.
• Review structural materials, shop drawings, and construction details.
• Ensure that structural designs comply with the National Building Code of the Philippines, applicable structural codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations for structural concerns and modifications.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC).
• 5–10 years of solid experience in structural engineering and design.
• Extensive experience in structural design and analysis of 1st to 5th floor buildings, including residential, commercial, and/or prefabricated structures.
• Experienced in the design and analysis of beams, columns, slabs, foundations, footings, shear walls, and other structural components.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and structural analysis/design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP) and applicable building codes and standards.
• Experienced in preparing structural plans, design calculations, structural details, specifications, and technical reports.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with architects, engineers, contractors, and site teams.
