Job summary

SMX Convention Center Cebu seeks a Sales Manager to drive revenue for Sky Hall Seaside Cebu by acquiring new clients and managing key accounts. The role focuses on promoting the venue for corporate functions, conventions, weddings, social events, and other special occasions.

The successful candidate will develop sales strategies, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with Operations to ensure flawless event execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years in sales in hospitality/events/venues/MICE preferred.
• Proven track record achieving sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to build professional client relationships.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of Cebu events market is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Generate new business from corporate accounts, event organizers, weddings, gov't agencies, and other segments.
• Conduct sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and venue tours.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and event packages.
• Negotiate rates and terms while ensuring profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Monitor sales pipelines, bookings, and market trends.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Operations for successful event execution.
• Attend networking events to promote the venue.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance updates.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
