Job summary

UnionBank is seeking a Reliability Officer to strengthen risk management within the first line of defense, ensuring policy adherence and robust controls in a banking context.

You will lead governance activities, coordinate with 2LOD and regulators, and drive data quality, issue resolution, and operational resilience across UB Square operations.

The role requires 3–8 years of risk management experience and a Bachelor’s degree, with probationary employment in Quezon City, Philippines.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years in risk management or related control roles.
• Strong grasp of GRC frameworks and control assurance.
• Proactive with analytical judgment.
• Effective advisory communicator.
• Collaborative and adaptable to changing risk environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory to risk and control owners.
• Lead governance, risk, and compliance activities (RCSA, BIA, RP).
• Support issue management and incident reporting.
• Ensure URCO guidelines are implemented with stakeholders.
• Align risk taxonomy and KRI monitoring with standards.
