Job summary

UnionBank in the Philippines is seeking a Risk Policy Analyst to work with the Risk Management Team to deliver data and analytics that guide risk appetite decisions for our products. Qualifications

• The candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and at least 5 years of credit risk or portfolio analysis experience.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Risk appetite analytics: provide data and insights to support risk appetite setting.
• Portfolio management: partner with Business and Credit Operations to achieve plan targets and ensure product sustainability.
• Policy implementation: collaborate with Credit Operations and Business teams to ensure policies are correctly implemented and applied operationally.
• Monitoring and adjustment: deliver portfolio and segment-level analytics to monitor performance and adjust policies for optimal risk/reward balance.
• Risk reporting: support Risk Reporting teams with data for Credit Risk and Portfolio Quality Review reports, plus ad hoc reporting.
• Compliance and ethics: assess risks in business decisions, safeguard the firm’s reputation, ensure compliance with laws and policies, and escape issues transparently.
