Job summary

UnionBank is seeking a Risk Policy Analyst to join its Risk Management team at UB Square, Eastwood, Quezon City. The role focuses on reviews and monitoring to identify credit migration and manage portfolio exposure.

You will collaborate with Business, D&A and Credit teams to ensure policy implementation, provide data-driven insights, and support policy adjustments to safeguard assets and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field is a plus.
• Experience in analytics-focused roles; banking/financial sector experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in SAS, Python, SQL or R for data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in project and stakeholder management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Risk Management to provide data & analysis in setting risk appetite for products.
• Partner with Business, D&A and Credit to manage portfolios and achieve plan numbers.
• Ensure correct policy implementation at an operational level with Credit and Business.
• Provide data & analytics at portfolio and segment levels to monitor and adjust policy.
• Support Credit Risk Reporting, Portfolio Quality Review reporting, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Assess risk in business decisions, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and escalate control issues.
