Job summary

Union Bank of the Philippines is seeking a Reliability Officer to provide strategic risk advisory within the 1LOD, aligning with GRC standards. The role leads reliability initiatives, strengthens risk controls, and ensures data quality while coordinating with 2LOD, auditors, and regulators.

You will promote accountability, drive risk ownership, and ensure policy adherence across units to sustain operational resilience.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to advise on risk and controls within GRC frameworks.
• Experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and Response Plans (RP).
• Ability to coordinate with Risk Owners, 2LOD, auditors, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory services to risk and control owners.
• Lead governance, risk, and compliance activities across the unit.
• Support risk issue management, incident reporting, and timely mitigations.
• Ensure alignment of risk taxonomy, controls, and KRI monitoring.
• Oversee tracking and resolution of risk-related issues and data quality.
• Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and root-cause analysis.
