Job summary

dnata in Morong, Philippines, seeks a seasoned Resource Planning Lead to optimise 24/7 operations. You will supervise allocation, pre-planning, and real-time staffing, guiding planners and operators to data-driven decisions and clear escalation paths.

The role requires strong analytical skills, extensive experience with workforce systems, and the ability to coordinate with Duty Managers and international stakeholders to manage shifts and coverage effectively.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in planning, resource management, workforce planning, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory or leadership experience in resource planning, workforce, operations, or service delivery.
• Experience in airline, airport, MRO, logistics, or ground handling is advantageous; other complex operational environments also considered.
• Practical experience using, implementing, or supporting workforce/resource systems (RMS, RTC, MACS, Workforce Plus, Laminar or similar).
• Strong analytical and planning skills, rostering, leave administration, coverage analysis, and resource deployment.
• Experience working in a 24/7 or shift-based operational environment with timely decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead resource optimisation for 24/7 operations, ensuring effective planning, allocation, and deployment of resources.
• Oversee the full resource allocation cycle: pre-planning, shift-planning, and real-time allocation.
• Guide and support Resource Planners, Allocators, and operations teams to ensure data-led decisions and clear escalation paths.
• Support implementation and adoption of RMS, RTC, MACS, Workforce Plus, Laminar, and other tools; liaise with project stakeholders on Workforce Plus and related platforms.
• Act as SME for resource allocation tools, rules, qualifications, and workload data to improve planning accuracy and deployment decisions.
• Collaborate with Duty Managers, Service Delivery Managers, and Singapore stakeholders to respond to roster changes, flight movements, and other operational variables.
• Drive rostering improvements by reviewing outcomes and recommending efficiency enhancements in staffing.
• Develop reporting discipline with weekly/monthly coverage metrics, gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to implementation readiness including risk registers, escalation processes, and business continuity considerations.
• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer for new hires and local leaders as Clark team grows.
• Assist on budget submissions related to manpower and ground equipment.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, security, health, and approved procedures while promoting fairness and continuous improvement.
