dnata Travel Inc. is seeking a experienced Resource Planning lead to optimise rostering and allocation for Clark offshore operations. You will drive planning cycles, supervise planners, and champion data-led decisions to ensure continuity and efficiency.
Role involves implementing RMS/RTC/MACS systems, coordinating with Duty Managers and Singapore stakeholders, and coaching teams across shifts. Requires 6+ years in planning with 4+ years in leadership.
Lead resource optimisation for Clark offshore operations by ensuring effective planning, allocation, and deployment of resources across operational requirements, with a focus on service continuity, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Oversee the full resource allocation cycle, including:
Pre-planning: reviewing expected demand, schedules, and rostered resources 24–72 hours before operations.
Shift-planning: validating available manpower, equipment, and facilities before or at the start of shift.
Real-time allocation: responding to operational changes and actual loads during live operations.
Guide, coach, and support Resource Planners, Resource Allocators, and related operational teams to ensure shifts are resourced effectively, decisions are data-led, and escalation paths are clear when coverage gaps arise.
Support the implementation and adoption of resource management systems, including RMS, RTC, MACS, and other dnata or third-party MIS platforms, while working with project stakeholders on Workforce Plus, Laminar, and related operational tools as they are implemented.
Act as a systems and process subject matter expert, using resource allocation tools, rules, qualifications, and workload data to improve planning accuracy, identify gaps, and support efficient deployment decisions.
Work closely with Duty Managers, Service Delivery Managers, Resource Allocators, workforce teams, and Singapore stakeholders to respond to roster changes, flight movements, absences, leave impacts, workplace injuries, sickness, and other operational variables.
Drive rostering and allocation improvement by reviewing allocation outcomes, identifying over-coverage and under-coverage, and recommending efficiency improvements in how staff are rostered and deployed.
Develop reporting discipline by producing automated or manual reports that show weekly and monthly coverage effectiveness, operational gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Contribute to implementation readiness, including risk register inputs, mitigation planning, escalation processes, communication protocols, and business continuity considerations.
Facilitate training, onboarding, knowledge transfer, and train-the-trainer approaches for new hires and local leaders as the Clark team grow.
Assist on budget submissions related to manpower and ground equipment.
Ensure compliance on workplace safety, security, health, operational policies, and approved procedures while supporting a culture of fairness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
