Job summary

FWD Inc. is seeking an experienced procurement professional to source suppliers, issue purchase orders, and manage supplier contracts for property management needs.

The role requires coordination with multiple departments to maintain stock levels and ensure timely purchases. The candidate should excel in negotiations, possess knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management, and hold a diploma or degree in supply chain or a related field.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree qualification in supply chain management, business administration, commerce or a related field.
• Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role, ideally within property management, facilities management, construction or a related industry.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing and advantageous terms.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, evaluating and sourcing suitable suppliers and vendors for materials, equipment and services needed for property management operations.
• Preparing and issuing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of specifications, quantities and pricing.
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favourable payment conditions.
• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure adequate stock availability without over-purchasing.
• Processing and verifying purchase invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining organised records of all procurement transactions, supplier information and contractual agreements.
