Job summary

DDC LAND, INCORPORATED is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing of inventory, supplies, and capital equipment. You will process requisitions, issue purchase orders, and maintain accurate records while evaluating vendors for quality and cost.

Responsibilities include negotiating prices and delivery terms, applying Incoterms, and coordinating with Operations and Finance to ensure timely deliveries and a smooth manufacturing flow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Bachelor’s/College degree.
• Minimum of 2-3 years in procurement and importation role.
• Knowledge of import procedures, Incoterms, and customs documentation.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity in ERP software (e.g. MS Business Central, SAP).
• Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Good communication skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for efficient purchasing of inventory, supplies, and capital equipment. Receives purchase requisition and for accuracy and authorizations.
• Prepares and issues purchase orders; determines and negotiates prices, delivery, and credit terms; buys according to established company policies and procedures; maintains accurate purchasing records.
• Responsible for evaluating, assessing, and selecting vendors based on capabilities, performance, and consistent quality. Maintain rapport and good working relationships with vendors; keep accurate vendor records.
• Evaluate inventory reorder levels and quantity price breaks to determine most economical purchasing on inventory and supplies in relationships to company’s cost of capital. Prepares monthly reports and review forecast of purchasing commitments with the Vice President of Finance
• Expedites purchase orders as necessary and ensures delivery of purchased items for uninterrupted manufacturing flow.
• Performs other purchasing or inventory control duties as necessary or as requested.
