Job summary

EastWest Banking Corporation seeks an experienced Corporate Communications and PR Lead to join our Marketing team in Taguig. As AVP, you will shape external storytelling and manage media relations to strengthen brand credibility through press, social content, speeches, and multi-channel communications.

You will ensure brand-consistent messaging while coordinating with Legal, Risk, and Compliance on reputational considerations and regulatory requirements. onsite with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven writing and editing experience for press releases, speeches, and social content.
• Understanding of banking/financial services and regulatory environment.
• Experience in planning media engagements, PR campaigns, and events.
• Ability to manage high-stakes communications with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams.
• Proficient with MS Office, Meltwater, and design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute media relations and publicity strategy with media partners.
• Craft executive speeches and institutional communications with brand-aligned messaging.
• Drive executive visibility through speaking engagements and awards submissions.
• Lead post-event communications and editorial content showcasing milestones.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Customer Service, and business units for risk-aware messaging.
• Coordinate with teams to deliver press kits and strategic communications assets.
