Job summary

Unistar Credit and Finance Corp is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to drive learning strategies and programs that support organizational goals. The role also involves handling clerical tasks to support initiatives.

The candidate will design courses, manage e-learning content, and deliver training across locations. Strong ADDIE knowledge, MS Office/G Suite, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Senior high school graduate or college undergraduate; relevant business or HR course preferred.
• Over 2 years relevant work experience in Learning/Talent Development.
• Familiar with ADDIE, adult learning principles and learning methodologies.
• Proficient in MS Office or G Suite applications.
• Basic project management skills.
• Agile experience; able to adapt to organizational changes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Analytical, team player, results-oriented and highly reliable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discussions with employees, managers or department heads to identify learning needs and gaps.
• Design learning programs, outlines, and training materials per guidelines.
• Develop training videos for areas beyond classroom-based training.
• Manage the e-Course and Certification site for online training and assessments.
• Deliver approved programs to locations; use multiple learning methods per adult learning principles.
• Conduct New Hire Onboarding and ensure compliance on documentation for orientation and roles.
• Use evaluation methods across the 4 Levels to assess programs.
• Inform participants of schedules by drafting, releasing and tracking announcements.
• Track participation and log attendance in the Employee Training Monitoring file.
• Source external training providers as needed; handle logistics (venues, equipment, meals).
