Job summary

Insight Enterprises is seeking a Buyer to support software/hardware procurement across defined geographies, ensuring optimal price and quantity. You will assist with inventory management, backlogs, and supplier relationships while upholding audit and revenue policies.

The role emphasizes timely PO placement, tracking, and liaison with Sales, deliveries, and post-supply support to maximize sales potential and ensure accurate system data.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in purchasing, procurement, order management, or a related operational role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage backlogs and SLAs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to liaise with internal teams and suppliers.
• Detail-oriented mindset with focus on accuracy and audit compliance.

Responsibilities

• Place and fulfil purchase orders to distributors with tracking per audit requirements.
• Backlog and ETA management; ensure POs are placed on receipt and tracked.
• Coordinate with Sales and support teams on availability, delivery dates, and post-supply issues.
• Manage workflow requests and tickets, ensuring responses within SLAs.
