Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Business Finance Controller - Transactional in Taguig to partner with the BU, drive financial planning, reporting and analysis, and support growth and profitability targets. The role emphasizes forecasting, risk awareness, and collaboration with business heads to implement corrective actions.

The position expects deep experience in finance, P&L oversight, and leadership, with a focus on cash flow, margins, and cost optimization across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, accounting/CPA, CIMA, CMA or MBA are advantageous.
• Open mind and understanding of the relevant industry’s; People Leadership, Financial (P&L) management.
• Strategic thinking & planning, Forecasting & budgeting, Risk management, Business systems. Continuous Improvement & Quality.
• Minimum of eight (8) years experience in Finance, at least 2 yrs in a management role.
• Excellent communication skills in English and local language; able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner to the BU to ensure growth & profit targets through sound financial planning, reporting and analysis.
• Provide comprehensive end-to-end reporting of business results, trends and opportunities; submit quarterly targets and forecasts.
• Assist management in understanding financial inputs and implications to drive profitable growth and efficiency.
• Drive cash generation and leverage synergies from opportunities for growth.
• Drive margins improvements, Opex efficiencies and price increases across product range.
• Develop productivity actions within the business and across the supply chain.
