Job summary

Lagunilla & Co. is seeking a Controller (Finance Manager) to lead the financial backbone of our client’s business in the Philippines.

This role goes beyond traditional accounting, setting the standard for financial discipline, protecting margins, and delivering leadership with actionable insights for rapid decision‑making. The position covers financial control, reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and business partnering with department heads to drive process

Qualifications

• CPA certification or strong accounting/finance background.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong understanding of Philippine tax and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and compliance.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Build and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
