Job summary

Schneider Electric in Manila seeks a Business Finance Controller – Transactional to partner with the Business Unit, ensuring growth and profitability through financial planning, reporting and analysis.

You will own end-to-end reporting, set quarterly targets, challenge trends, and drive cash flow improvements while leading a finance team. Requires 8+ years in finance with management experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA, CIMA, CMA, MBA or similar are advantageous.
• Open mind and understanding of the relevant industry.
• People leadership and financial (P&L) management experience.
• Strategic thinking, planning, forecasting & budgeting, risk management, business system knowledge.
• Continuous improvement and quality focus.
• Minimum eight years’ experience in Finance, with at least two years in a management role.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the local language.
• Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines.
• Self‑starter, action‑oriented with strategic influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive end‑to‑end accurate reporting of business results, trends and opportunities.
• Submit realistic targets and forecasts quarterly.
• Challenge the business by providing feedback on sales, margins and costs trends.
• Conduct business reviews by presenting complete, relevant data and highlighting risks, opportunities and progress against plan.
• Assist management in understanding financial inputs and implications to their business.
• Drive profitable growth across the business, improving margins, OPEX efficiencies and price strategy.
• Generate cash flow improvements and leverage synergies from business opportunities.
• Develop productivity actions within the business and supply chain.
