Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to serve large and middle market corporate clients in Metro Manila. The role focuses on cultivating trust, delivering tailored financial solutions, and growing profitable client portfolios in line with bank policies.

You will manage client engagements, coordinate with credit partners on loan packages and renewals, monitor credit quality, and contribute to positive customer experiences through collaboration

Qualifications

• College graduate preferably with a degree in business-related discipline such as Banking, Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in Commercial, Corporate, or SME Banking with direct involvement in client relationship management, account servicing, and business development.
• Solid knowledge of markets, credit and lending, operations, credit policies, risk management, and commercial banking products and services.
• Familiarity with Philippine regulatory standards and compliance guidelines.
• Proven ability to work effectively with commercial clients and deliver tailored financial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management – relationship manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients and ensuring its profitability.
• Revenue and Income Growth – drives income and volume targets through business development respecting policy guidelines.
• Customer Care – ensures positive customer experience through feedback, market intelligence, and collaboration with product groups and operations.
• Loan Negotiation, Documentation and Administration – collaborates with Credit partners on loan packages and renewals.
• Monitoring Loan Portfolio Credit Quality – monitors credit quality and ensures compliance with credit policies and standards.
• People Management – trains the Service Associate on day-to-day activities to meet client expectations.
