Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to oversee a portfolio of large and middle-market corporate clients. The role focuses on cultivating trust, expanding profitability, and delivering superior customer experience in line with bank policies.

You will coordinate with Credit partners for loan structuring and approvals, while ensuring compliance across units.

Qualifications

• 3+ years banking experience serving commercial accounts
• Knowledge of markets, credit and lending, operations, credit policies, risk management and commercial banking products/services for cross-selling
• Knowledge of Philippines regulatory standards and compliance guidelines
• Knowledge of working with commercial clients

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management – manage a portfolio of corporate clients and ensure profitability, engaging with clients to address needs
• Revenue and Income Growth – achieve income/volume targets via business development and broaden product portfolio for corporate clients
• Customer Care – ensure positive customer experience, solicit feedback, and collaborate with product groups, channels, operations, legal and compliance
• Loan Negotiation, Documentation and Administration – structure loan packages, negotiate terms, ensure complete documentation and credit approvals
• Monitoring Loan Portfolio Credit Quality – monitor credit quality and compliance, pursue recovery if needed
• People Management – train Service Associate on day-to-day activities to meet client expectations and bank goals
