Job summary

RCBC in the Philippines seeks a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to solicit new customers and manage a designated portfolio of corporate clients. You will lead account strategies, coordinate with product partners, and drive profitability while maintaining strong credit quality.

You will also handle cross-selling across the bank's product suite and build relationships with CEO/COO/CFO-level executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any business course.
• At least 2 years of banking industry experience, specifically in corporate banking.
• Ability to speak Nihongo would be advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes overall account strategies for each account under coverage, with the view of maximizing overall returns from the relationship.
• Solicits credit-worthy accounts by identifying target markets and strategies, ensuring optimal coverage of the identified target market.
• Drives customized and cohesive product account plans in coordination with bank product partners based on customer requirements, organization capabilities, and market conditions.
• Promotes a cross selling mentality by leveraging the full suite of bank products and services in managing corporate relationships.
• Delivers mandated profitability metrics and cross-sell ratios while ensuring compliance with bank credit and regulatory policy.
• Ensures compliance of accounts under coverage with documentation and covenant requirements.
• Builds and nurtures relationships at various levels of a corporate organization, engaging decision makers and influencers (CEO, COO, CFO, Treasury Heads).
• Prepares and evaluates credit proposals and line renewals according to established plans and strategies.
• Analyzes customers' market and financial positions to identify needs and potential warning signals affecting credit quality.
• Maintains sound credit quality of the loan portfolio under coverage.
• Develops and grows the bank's market share for assets and liabilities and expands collateral business from relationships.
• Mentors Account Specialists on proper account administration and relationship management.
• Assists in collection of past due accounts and manages loan restructurings as needed.
