Job summary

Xerox is seeking a Specialist Bid Writer in Cebu City, Philippines to support strategic proposal development across public sector, education, healthcare, and enterprise markets. This role focuses on translating complex business, technical, and operational information into persuasive content and managing high-value bids.

You will join the Bid Management function, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling, compliant responses and improve the proposal content library.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in proposal writing, bid management, content development, grant writing, technical writing, or government contracting.
• Proven experience supporting high-value public sector and/or enterprise proposals.
• Strong understanding of government procurement, RFP response development, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and content organization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and concurrent pursuits in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and customer value.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear, persuasive, compliant, and customer-focused proposal responses aligned with customer requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Partner with Bid Managers and pursuit teams to convert proposal strategy into compelling written narratives.
• Translate complex technical, operational, and commercial information into strong business language.
• Create standard and customized content that accurately reflects Xerox solutions, capabilities, experience, and differentiators.
• Gather, organize, write, edit, and review proposal information within established deadlines.
• Ensure consistency of messaging, tone, style, branding, formatting, and quality across proposal documents.
• Support editing, proofreading, compliance checks, and quality reviews.
• Support proposal color team reviews and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Develop and improve proposal content assets, including case studies, references, executive summaries, and reusable content.
• Provide writing guidance and best-practice support to proposal contributors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Bid Center and proposal management function.
