Job Summary
The Storeroom Supervisor oversees and controls the storeroom, chiller, and warehouse operations while ensuring accurate inventory records and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role supports the Accounting Department by safeguarding assets, maintaining reliable inventory data, and contributing to timely and accurate financial reporting. The Storeroom Supervisor ensures proper documentation, cost monitoring, and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily storeroom, chiller, and warehouse operations, ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of goods and supplies.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely reconciliation with accounting and financial reports.
Monitor stock levels, conduct regular physical inventory counts, and investigate variances or discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies related to inventory and cost accounting.
Coordinate closely with the Accounting Department to support the preparation of accurate and time-bound financial reports.
Implement and enforce proper inventory control procedures to minimize losses, damages, and inefficiencies.
Prepare inventory-related reports and analyses to support management decision-making.
Supervise and guide storekeeping staff, ensuring proper training, performance, and adherence to procedures.
Ensure proper use of MS Office tools, particularly Excel, for inventory tracking, analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience
Four-year graduate, preferably BS Accountancy or BS Management Accounting
Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in inventory, storekeeping, or accounting-related functions; supervisory experience is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and coordination skills
Highly proficient in Excel and inventory-related documentation
