Appsierra Group is seeking a State Head for Punjab to own the end-to-end execution of a regenerative agriculture project. You will lead field teams, build strategic relationships with state departments and local farming bodies, and ensure accurate data collection for carbon credit registration.
The role requires strong leadership, English and Hindi language capability, Punjabi fluency, and extensive travel across Punjab with 80% field time. Immediate joining is expected.

As the State Head - Punjab, you will own the end-to-end execution, expansion, and operational integrity of the Regenerative Agriculture Project in Punjab. You will lead field deployment teams, build strategic relationships with state agricultural departments, local FPOs, and farmer cooperatives, and ensure accurate, verifiable data collection for carbon credit registration.
Strategic Leadership & Operational Planning:
a. Drive state-level strategy to onboard farmers into the regenerative agriculture program
b. Build, train, and manage territory managers, district-level team leads, and ground field agents across high-priority districts in Punjab
c. Define district-wise KPIs for farmer onboarding, practice adoption (DSR, residue management), and field data collection
Field Execution & Regenerative Practice Adoption
a. Oversee farmer mobilization campaigns, ground outreach programs, and field-day demonstrations to promote sustainable practices like DSR and straw management to tackle stubble burning
Stakeholder Management & Partnerships
a. Establish and maintain relationships with Punjab State Agricultural Department, Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), local Panchayats, and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)
Quality Control & Compliance
a. Enforce zero-tolerance policies on fraud or double-counting in farmer onboarding data
1) Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or related fields.
2) Experience: 10-15 years of field operational experience in agribusiness, agtech, seed/fertilizer distribution, or largescale agricultural sustainability programs.
3) Language Proficiency: Strong command of English and Hindi; native fluency in Punjabi is required.
4) Key Skills: Team management, farmer communication, field data collection apps, and strong on-the-ground problem-solving skills.
5) Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across assigned districts in Punjab (80%+ field time).
