iSupport Worldwide in Manila is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst / Cost Accountant to join our team. You will manage month-end close, reconciliations, and cross-functional collaboration with AP, AR, payroll, and operations.

The role emphasizes cost analysis, budgeting, and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance. Strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in operations, managerial, or cost accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of management, including corporate and regional leadership.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost data and provide actionable insights.
• Advanced software skills, including Excel and database management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: Prepare and review monthly closing entries, ensuring transactions are complete, accurate, and recorded in the correct period.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Shared Services Coordination: Collaborate with shared service functions such as AP, AR, and payroll to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and pertinent reporting is completed and distributed.
• Operational Financial Oversight: Collaborate with operations management and contract administration to manage and oversee financial operations.
• Cost Analysis and Reporting: Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management and stakeholders, including job and branch cost variance analysis against budget and the latest operational forecasts.
• Budgeting and Planning: Work closely with operational management teams and the FP&A department during the annual budget process, including the capital budget.
• Financial Performance Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance and drive business growth.
• Internal Controls: Maintain the integrity of the internal control environment around the month-end process.
