Job summary

iSupport Worldwide, based in the Philippines, is seeking a qualified accounting professional to manage month-end close, reconcile balance sheets, and coordinate with AP/AR/payroll. The role focuses on financial oversight, cost analysis, and budgeting in a dynamic shared services environment.

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in operations, managerial, or cost accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of management, including corporate and regional leadership.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost data and provide actionable insights.
• State-of-the-art Excel and database management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly closing entries to ensure accuracy and proper period recording.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with AP, AR, and payroll to ensure proper recording and reporting.
• Collaborate with operations management and contract administration on financial operations.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, including variance analysis.
• Assist with annual budgeting and planning processes, including capital budgeting.
• Support cross-functional teams to improve financial performance and drive growth.
• Maintain internal controls around the month-end process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Month-End Close: Prepare and review monthly closing entries, ensuring transactions are complete, accurate, and recorded in the correct period.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Shared Services Coordination: Collaborate with shared service functions such as AP, AR, and payroll to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and pertinent reporting is completed and distributed.
• Operational Financial Oversight: Collaborate with operations management and contract administration to manage and oversee financial operations.
• Cost Analysis and Reporting: Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management and stakeholders, including job and branch cost variance analysis against budget and the latest operational forecasts.
• Budgeting and Planning: Work closely with operational management teams and the FP&A department during the annual budget process, including the capital budget.
• Financial Performance Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance and drive business growth.
• Internal Controls: Maintain the integrity of the internal control environment around the month-end process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
