Job summary

Infinit-O is seeking an experienced investment operations specialist to join our Manila-area team. You will perform daily operations of trade matching, settlements, post-settlements, and corporate actions, while reconciling holdings and cash across internal and third-party records.

The role requires 5–7 years in investment operations, excellent English, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively under SLA metrics in a distributed team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Financial Management, Economics, Accounting or related field.
  • 5–7 years experience in investment operations, trade support, or portfolio reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of derivatives and global equities, fixed income.
  • Excellent English, oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-starter, proactive and able to work independently or in a distributed team with SLA awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily operations of trade matching, settlements and post-settlements, and corporate actions.
  • Reconcile portfolio holdings and cash balances between internal systems and third-party custodians or fund administrators.
  • Investigate and resolve breaks or discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain high data accuracy in portfolio management systems (e.g., security setups).
  • Collaborate with custodians and counterparties to support investment operations and reporting.
  • Gain knowledge of securities including equities, bonds, swaps, options, FX, and futures through training.
  • Contribute to development and enhancement of the team’s systems and processes.
  • Assist Portfolio Operations Lead in communicating updates via process documents and trainings.

Key Responsibilities
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform daily operations of Trade Matching, Settlements and Post settlements, Corporate Actions.
  • Reconcile portfolio holdings and cash balances between internal systems and third-party custodians or fund administrator.
  • Investigate and resolve breaks or discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain high data accuracy in portfolio management systems (e.g., security setups,)
  • Collaborate closely with custodians, and counterparties to support investment operations and reporting. Communicating effectively and efficiently.
  • Other Adhocs as needed by the clients and Lead.
  • Gain knowledge (through on the job training and research) of various securities including equities,bonds, swaps, options, FX, mortgages, financing, and futures.
  • The candidate is also expected to contribute in the development and enhancement of the team's systems and processes to ensure continual efficiency gains and process improvements.
  • Assist Portfolio Operations Lead in ensuring the associates understand process updates through creation and maintenance of process documents and trainings.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Financial Management, Economics, Accounting or other related course.
  • 5 to 7 years experience in investment operations, trade support, or portfolio reconciliation from a multinational bank, investment management firm, hedge fund, or fund administrator.
  • Possess knowledge regarding of investment transactions, Trade lifecycle, various asset classes, reconciliations.
  • The ideal candidate should have an intermediate to advance understanding of financial products specifically Derivatives (futures, swaps, options, FX, OTC); and including global equities, fixed income bonds.
  • Excellent English, oral and written, communication skills.
  • Strong excel skills and ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High integrity, self-starter, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
  • Must be highly organized with strong time management and handle high volume work.
  • Must be proactive, motivated, detail-oriented and a team player with the understanding of how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics.
