Job summary

A construction company in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Estimator. Responsible for analyzing blueprints to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience. Proficiency in CAD software and good communication skills are essential. This full-time position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work longer hours. Company social events and office parties are also included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of work experience as an Estimator.
• Knowledge in Stone Works is an advantage.
• Preferably with minimum on-site construction exposure.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and documentation to prepare estimates.
• Assess cost effectiveness tracking actual costs.
• Confer with stakeholders on changes to estimates.
• Prepare estimates for planning and scheduling work.
• Follow up requests for inspection with client and subcontractor.

Job Description

Responsible for determining the total cost of a construction project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or College Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural or Interior Design.
• At least 2 years of work experience as an Estimator. Knowledge in Stone Works is an advantage.
• Proficient in numbers, quantification, accuracy, and completeness of work.
• Computer literate and knowledgeable in operating CAD software.
• Organized, systematic and has a keen eye for details.
• With good verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferably with minimum on-site construction exposure.
• Willing to work in longer hours.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
• Prepare request for inspection and follow up the same with client and subcontractor.
