Qualifications

• With drivers license.
• Can drive 2 wheels or 4 wheels.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in construction field supervision.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in reading architectural blueprints.
• Perform rapid, accurate mental and digital calculations for geometry, volumes, and areas.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.

• Evaluate site conditions and potential regulatory or cost risks.
• Measure and calculate quantities of materials, parts, and components.

Job Responsibilities

• Review architectural blueprints, engineering drawings, and structural specifications to understand the project requirements.
• Define exactly what tasks, materials and processes are required to successfully complete the project.
• Evaluate site conditions, complex designs, or strict regulations that could cause unexpected costs or delays.
• Measure and calculate the exact quantities of materials, parts, and components needed.
• Estimate the total number of man-hours needed and factor in costs for heavy machinery, specialized tools, and site facilities.
• Create a detailed Cost Estimate or Bill of Quantities (BOQ) that breaks down every expense item line by line.
• Add necessary financial buffers for project insurance, city permits, safety gear, and company profit margins.
• Compile the finalized cost data into professional, competitive proposals to submit to clients.
• Compare the original estimate against actual spending at the end of a project to improve future estimation accuracy.
