Job summary

Brixter Builders Co is seeking an on-site Estimator in Pasig with 2–3 years of experience in fit‑out/interior finishing projects. You will prepare cost estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and develop BOQs from approved plans and scope.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, obtaining quotations, and coordinating with the Project Manager, Design, Procurement, and Site Engineers to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as an Estimator in construction, preferably fit-out/interior finishing projects.
• Knowledgeable in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and BOQ preparation.
• Experience reviewing architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for fit-out, renovation, interior finishing, and other projects from plans and scope.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for architectural, structural, and MEPF works.
• Prepare and maintain BOQ, material take-off, cost breakdowns, and project estimates.
• Review drawings to identify requirements, quantities, materials, and discrepancies.
• Evaluate specs and scopes to ensure all items are included in estimates.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for competitive costs.
• Prepare labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost calculations.
• Conduct market research and update cost databases for materials and rates.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Design Team, Procurement Team, and Site Engineers.
• Identify discrepancies and raise queries for clarifications.
• Prepare quotations, bid proposals, tender submissions, and cost summaries.

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fit‑out, renovation, interior finishing, and other construction projects based on approved plans, specifications, and scope of work.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for architectural, structural, and MEPF works using construction drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
• Prepare and maintain detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material take-off, cost breakdowns, and project estimates.
• Review and analyze architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings to identify project requirements, quantities, materials, and potential discrepancies.
• Evaluate project specifications, scope of work, and construction methodologies to ensure that all required items are properly included in the estimate.
• Obtain, evaluate, and compare quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to establish competitive and accurate project costs.
• Prepare labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and other construction‑related cost calculations.
• Conduct market research and maintain updated cost databases for construction materials, labor rates, subcontractor rates, and other project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Design Team, Procurement Team, Site Engineers, and other departments to clarify project scope, quantities, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Identify discrepancies, omissions, and potential cost risks in drawings, specifications, and tender documents, and raise necessary queries or clarifications.
• Prepare quotations, bid proposals, tender submissions, and cost summaries within the required deadlines.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Preferably with at least 2–3 years of experience as an Estimator in construction, particularly in fit‑out/interior finishing projects.
• Knowledgeable in quantity take‑off, cost estimation, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Experienced in reviewing architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with fit‑out materials, labor costing, subcontractor pricing, and construction methodologies.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and other estimating software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam, CostX is an advantage).
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to prepare accurate project cost estimates, quotations, and bid proposals within deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
