RESPONSIBILITIES
Cost Estimation: Collaborate with the architects and technical team to develop accurate cost estimates for construction projects and bidding.
Project Documentation: Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including bills of quantities, tender documents, and cost reports.
Budget Management: Support in monitoring project budgets and financial performance, ensuring adherence to cost plans, and identifying potential cost overruns.
Tendering Process: Participate in the tendering process by analyzing bids, evaluating contractor proposals, and contributing to the selection of suitable subcontractors.
Progress Billing: Check construction progress billing to clients.
Contract Administration: Assist in the administration of construction contracts, including reviewing contractual agreements, variations, and claims.
Site Visits: Conduct periodic site visits to assess progress, validate quantities, and gather information to support accurate cost assessments.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data related to project costs, providing insights and recommendations to optimize cost efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination in all cost-related matters.
