Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Compliance Policy Specialist to oversee policy writing, governance, and documentation across the organization. You will coordinate document routing for ExCo and Board approvals, manage the internal documents system, and ensure proper access controls and archiving.

The role requires deep regulatory knowledge (BSP/SEC/AMLC) and strong analytical skills, with experience in policy writing, testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Compliance Department, banking or financial institution.
• Experience in gap analysis and policy writing/review.

About The Job

The objective and purpose of this job is to have a function within Compliance Department responsible for and with oversight on policy writing and review, tracking, monitoring, and assisting the different business units on their documentation of local policies, guidelines, manuals and work instructions.

What You’ll Do

• Internal Documents:
• Provide access control to the different documents saved in the internal documents site (Sharepoint).
• Track the routing of documents to the ExCo level for notification, review, or approval.
• Coordinate the approval of the Board of Directors and relevant Committees
• Act as administrator of the Internal Documents Management Site, updating of site pages as necessary,
• publication of newly approved and effective documents, and ensuring proper site access restrictions are in place
• Ensure that the internal document approval process is being followed and implemented; release internal
• communications/announcements (intranet announcement and/or email blast) related to internal documents to
• give guidance on matters such as cut-off for quarterly board approvals, new templates, new guidelines, etc.
• Prepare monthly reports on the status of compliance by business units on the maintenance of documents to be
• delivered to Internal Documents and for archiving.
• Facilitate during the policy standardization governance discussions
• Compliance Activities:
• Provide guidance to the different business units on the localization of group policies or drafting of policies
• connected with local regulatory requirements and the drafting of related manuals, guidelines, or workplace
• instructions.
• Conduct a periodic review of the policies, manuals, guidelines and workplace instruction output of Legal,
• Compliance and External Affairs.
• Facilitate periodic review of policies, manuals, guidelines and workplace instruction output of business units
• including gap analysis performed of relevant control functions such as Compliance Testing, Risk, and Internal Audit
• Policy Writing:
• Write compliance and legal policies, charter, manuals and guidelines for Legal, Compliance and External Affairs
• Conduct regular training and facilitation of learning sessions.

What You Need To Have

• Has a good command of the English language, both in speaking and in writing.
• Has deep knowledge of the regulations issued by the
• Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Securities and
• Exchange Commission (SEC), Anti-Money Laundering
• Council (AMLC) and other regulatory bodies.
• More than five (5) years of work experience in
• Compliance Department, particularly in Compliance
• Testing, in a bank or financial institution.
• Has two (2) years experience in gap analysis, policy
• writing and review.
• Familiar with industry – knowledgeable about personal/consumer loans and/or Credit Cards
• Advanced proficiency in Using Microsoft Excel
• Analytical mind, problem solving, well organized and can be trusted to take full ownership and pay attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a proactive, can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering work above bare minimum standards.
• Analytical mind, problem solving, organized and can be trusted to pay attention to details.
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees from the different departments and with the senior management.
• Works well with the team and with the members of the other departments.
