Job summary

1Aviation Groundhandling Services, Corp. is seeking a Talent Management Specialist – Recruitment & Onboarding (Mactan) to join our growing team in Cebu. You will lead end-to-end recruitment, coordinate onboarding, and partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth candidate experience.

You will source candidates, assess fit, manage pre-employment checks, and maintain accurate ATS records to strengthen our talent pipeline and onboarding process at our Mactan site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR/OD/Business Administration or related field.
• 2+ years in Talent Management, Recruitment or related HR function.
• End-to-end recruitment and onboarding experience preferred.
• Proficient with ATS and HR software.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical, organized and able to report on metrics.
• Service-oriented with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

As part of the Talent Management team, you will play a key role in attracting, selecting, and welcoming talent into the organization. You will partner with hiring managers, engage candidates, manage recruitment activities, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for our new hires.

What is the Talent Management Specialist – Recruitment & Onboarding role?

You will manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities, from sourcing and candidate assessment to pre-employment requirements, orientation, and post-onboarding support. You will also help strengthen our talent pipeline and continuously improve the candidate and new hire experience.

What You'll Do

• Ensure that 1Aviation’s Mission, Vision and Values are achieved.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and develop appropriate recruitment strategies.
• Source and build talent pools through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and direct sourcing.
• Create and publish engaging job advertisements and recruitment campaigns.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates against role requirements.
• Coordinate interviews and ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.
• Manage candidate communication, application updates, and recruitment inquiries.
• Extend job offers and coordinate employment requirements.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment data through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future manpower requirements.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements, background checks, and other onboarding activities.
• Conduct and coordinate new hire orientation, training, and onboarding activities.
• Serve as a key point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process.
• Monitor onboarding progress and gather feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare recruitment and onboarding reports and support continuous process improvement.
• Promote compliance with Quality, Safety, Security and Customer Service standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Talent Management, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or a related HR function.
• Experience handling end-to-end recruitment and onboarding is preferred.
• Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR software.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Service-oriented and highly attentive to detail.
• Goal-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
