The Spare Parts Specialist is responsible for overseeing the inventory management, distribution, and procurement of spare parts and service components to ensure the efficient operation of service departments. The supervisor will also lead a team of parts personnel, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

The key responsibilities will be :

1. Manage and oversee the spare parts inventory and logistics.

2. Coordinate with service technicians to forecast parts needs and ensure timely availability.

3. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers for effective procurement and negotiation of parts.

4. Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes to optimize stock levels.

5. Lead, train, and develop a team of parts personnel to achieve operational excellence.

6. Monitor and analyze inventory turnover rates, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

7. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding parts handling and storage.

8. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to parts availability and service.
