Job summary

MVP Asia Pacific Inc, based in the Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines, is seeking a proactive Spare Parts Interpreter (Onsite) to join our growing team. You will review customer enquiries, analyze part details, and prepare accurate quotations while coordinating with internal departments and suppliers.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in automotive engineering and 2–3 years of experience in parts interpretation, with strong data accuracy and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years in spare parts interpretation, preferably in dealer/auto trade.
• Experience with parts catalogues, supplier portals or quoting systems.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle panels and mechanical components.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines in a competitive quoting environment.
• Fluent written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage customer enquiries through the quoting portal.

• Maintain enquiry data in the portal and meet SLAs and deadlines.

• Support quotations, orders, data management, and customer communications.

Spare Parts Interpreter (Onsite)

Job Description:

• Review and manage incoming trade customer enquiries received through the online quoting portal, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Analyse customer-provided information, including photos, part descriptions, and VIN details, to accurately identify required panel and mechanical parts.
• Prepare and submit competitive and accurate quotations, ensuring correct part numbers, pricing, and product recommendations.
• Upload, update, and maintain enquiry information within the quoting portal, meeting all service level agreements and submission deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal Parts Departments and suppliers through designated systems to verify part availability, pricing, lead times, and alternative solutions.
• Monitor and manage enquiry progress from initial submission through to outcome, recording successful and unsuccessful quotes and maintaining accurate records.
• Generate reports and provide insights on quoting activity, conversion rates, customer trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain current knowledge of parts catalogues, supplier platforms, pricing structures, and industry best practices to ensure high-quality quoting outcomes.
• Support the Spare Parts Team with administrative functions related to quotations, order processing, data management, and customer communications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance quoting accuracy, turnaround times, and overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering, or any related field.
• 2 - 3 years of experience as a Spare Parts Interpreter, preferably within a dealership, automotive supplier, or trade environment.
• Experience working with parts catalogues, supplier portals, or quoting systems.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle panels and mechanical components.
• High attention to detail with strong accuracy in interpreting and entering data.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work in a highly competitive quoting environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written communication skills (English).

Nice-To-Haves:

• Prior experience in a high-volume trade or flee spare parts environment.
• Experience supporting Australian, UK, or global automotive markets.
• Familiarity with dealer management systems (DMS), ERP platforms, or automotive quoting software.
