Job summary

Peak Fuel Corporation is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier negotiations for our source-to-pay cycle. You will ensure timely deliveries, compliance, and value across the supply base in support of operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in procurement or supply chain, SAP MM experience, and strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Accounting).
• 2–3 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience.
• High integrity, flexible and can meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• SAP Material Management knowledge is a must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify reliable suppliers for PFC's requirements.
• Solicit quotations, canvass, and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Perform supplier accreditation and performance evaluation.
• Review PRs and ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Track POs and generate spend analysis quarterly.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, incoterms, and delivery schedules.
• Analyze quotes to select cost-effective suppliers.
• Ensure incoming deliveries are received, inspected, and documented.
• Coordinate with Impex/operations teams to meet delivery timelines.

About the role

Key role in the supply chain responsible for sourcing, purchasing, negotiating, and ensuring timely delivery & facilitate payment of goods and services (source to pay cycle) that the PFC's needs to operate safely and efficiently with integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Identify reliable suppliers for PFC's commercial, marketing, business development product requirements
• Solicit quotations, conduct canvassing, and evaluate supplier proposals based on price, quality, delivery time, and warranty conditions
• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Perform supplier accreditation and supplier performance evaluation
• Review purchase requisitions from PFC's internal departments and prepare and issue Purchase Requisitions (PRs), ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policy, and timely processing
• Track POs throughout the source-to-pay cycle and generate spend analysis quarterly
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, incoterms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure the best terms possible
• Analyze quotes and recommend the most cost-effective supplier without compromising compliance or quality and integrity
• Ensure all incoming deliveries are accurately received, inspected, and validated against purchase and delivery documents
• Coordinate with Impex/operations teams to ensure purchased items meet delivery timelines and specifications

About you

• BS Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field
• At least 2-3 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience
• High integrity, flexible and can work with deadlines
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Analytical mindset and ability to evaluate supplier offers
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• SAP Material Management knowledge is a must
• Proficient on Microsoft office application
