Job summary

GCash is seeking a Manager, Solutions Designer to lead the design of customer-centric financial solutions in our Philippines office. You will work with stakeholders to clarify business context, translate requirements into functional and technical designs, and ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards.

You will partner with Product Owners and Delivery teams to prioritize features, validate implementations, and drive design governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a business analyst, systems analyst/design or related roles.
• Business and technical background bridging requirements to solutions.
• Must be customer-oriented with relevant technology know-how to bridge requirements to solutions.
• Experience in agile delivery model with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs by clarifying business context and requirements.
• Design solutions by elaborating customer experience, processes, and business rules.
• Translate requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
• Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards, security protocols, regulatory and internal requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize features and present tradeoffs and risks.
• Work with the technical team to validate the solution and ensure traceability.
• Lead functional and technical assessments and design reviews through lifecycle stages.
• Author and maintain product solution documents and artifacts.
• Act as subject matter expert for assigned products and services.
• Contribute to solution design principles and standards and ensure compliance.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead/participate in solutions design guild activities.
