Job summary

We Connect HR Solutions OPC is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to bridge technical know-how with customer needs in the renewable energy sector. You will identify opportunities, develop technical solutions, and close deals that advance clients' solar initiatives.

You will present solutions, conduct site assessments, prepare proposals, and support clients through the sales cycle while coordinating with engineering teams. A strong technical background and sales drive are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Proven experience in Sales, preferably in solar/renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV, renewable energy tech, and electrical design.
• Demonstrated sales or business development experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in CAD software and system design tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical presentations and product demos to prospective clients in solar and renewable energy.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to understand client requirements and recommend solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotes tailored to project specs.
• Provide technical support throughout the sales process and address client questions.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure technical alignment and timelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to spot opportunities and shape strategy.
• Prepare technical documentation, case studies, and sales materials for marketing and sales.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking to promote products.
• Track sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and report KPIs to management.
