Veritas is seeking a proven Sales Engineer to grow its residential solar business. This hands-on role focuses on generating new customers, qualifying leads, presenting solar systems, and closing sales with homeowners.

As a pioneer employee, you will help establish our customer base, tailor energy solutions, conduct site visits, and build a repeatable sales process in a startup environment. Candidates should be comfortable on camera and skilled at explaining technical concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• Proven sales track record with targets achieved.
• Experience in solar, electrical, appliances, construction, power systems, or technical products is preferred.
• Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Able to explain technical products in simple terms.
• Confident dealing with homeowners and decision-makers.
• Comfortable field sales and customer visits.
• Comfortable appearing on camera.
• Willing to work in a startup environment and be part of a pioneer team.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales for residential solar systems and energy solutions.
• Actively prospect for homeowners who may benefit from solar power.
• Generate leads through referrals, field prospecting, social media, networking, events, and other channels.
• Contact and qualify potential residential customers.
• Understand the customer's electricity consumption, budget, and energy requirements.
• Recommend suitable solar systems, power stations, batteries, and related products.
• Conduct customer consultations, product presentations, and demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations and sales proposals.
• Conduct site visits when required.
• Follow up with prospects and quotations consistently.
