Job summary

Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in Solar Industry specifically for Solar Rooftop, residential and C&I.
- Technical Engineer with experience as Pre-Sales Engineer
- A Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with knowledge of PV sizing, BOM prep and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to sales during pre-sales for rooftop solar projects.
- Assess site conditions, energy use and customer requirements to recommend PV solutions.
- Design and size PV and energy storage systems with necessary calculations.
- Prepare design drawings and LODs using AutoCAD, SketchUp and other tools.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and coordinate with sales/ops on availability and alternatives.
- Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards and utility requirements.
- Assist with post-sale technical inquiries, installation guidance and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to product knowledge training for sales teams and customers.
- Maintain accurate technical data in CRM and coordinate with Country Manager.
